Easter Bunny Breakfast raises money for local non-profits
CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The Twin Bridges Rotary Club held an Easter Bunny Breakfast Saturday.
The event at the Elks Lodge in Clifton Park raised money for other non-profits in the area, such as organizations that help fight opioid abuse, those that support the Runaway Teen Program, and Captain Community Human Services.
The Easter Bunny made an appearance and kids took part in a number of egg hunts.
Organizers say they had a goal of serving upwards of 500 people.
“I’ll tell you, kids are probably the ones who care the least about the rain. They love the fact they get to take a picture with the Easter Bunny. Families get a chance to spend time with one another and just talk. It’s a great atmosphere,” said Kevin Marin from the Twin Bridges Rotary Club.
Members of the Twin Bridges Rotary Club say at any given time, they help eight to ten different charities.
