Whilst Dior was largely black and white as usual, the rest of Paris really went out with most outfits bearing a real pop of colour. Mafs Collins fried chicken shirt How wonderful! Normally we look forward to colourful Spring/Summer seasons but it looks as though Winter 24/25 will also be a colourful one. Of course there was still plenty of black and white out there on the streets. Surprisingly Paris was not as suited as usual. The suit is still a great staple to have but the streets saw fashionistas largely concentrating on creative outfits in favour of the regular suit. Standard blazers often being replaced by colourful bomber style jackets or cutely cropped vegan leather jackets. One could almost say that a Courrèges jacket is this seasons fashionista’s must have. On the jewellery front interesting choker style necklaces are making a comeback. Even simply wearing a silk rose around your neck is a great statement. OMG that reminds me of pictures from the 1920’s. When it comes to earrings, jewellery designers are counting on us all having more than one piercing – Dior included. At some stage I felt like every second woman was wearing the Alberta Ferretti Asymmetric Creolen earrings. A newish trend for rings is to wear them at knuckle level. Personally I think it looks great but would be too afraid of loosing mine to follow this trend. Colourful boots, the new trouser boot, designer Mary Jane ballerinas and fancy sneakers are the hot trends when it comes to footwear. The oversized gingham pattern is making a comeback and there were plenty of shorter furry jackets to be seen.

Balenciaga’s reworked City bags and the new Le Cagole styles have a lot to answer for. Mafs Collins fried chicken shirt They spearhead a return to the extra-fussy It bag styles of the noughties, and now I’m seeing girls picking up vintage styles all over the city. The great thing about this maxi skirt comeback is that no matter where you buys yours from—high end or high street—the overall effect of a very plain, pared back style is wealth!. Savile Row is the epicentre of tailoring in the world, so London fashion people are no strangers to a fantastic suit. This season the trend continues for slouchy, oversized shapes with looser, wide-leg fits and boxy jackets. Super-bright shirts have been going strong for two summers now and I don’t expect to see them being put to rest over the fall months. Instead, they’ll be worn under suits or layered over fine-knit roll-necks. Bikers, blazer and bombers are all on the agenda for AW22, but there’s nothing a bohemian London girl likes more than a swishy fringed jacket. Particularly good with jeans and over long dresses. From Loewe’s anagram tank to Prada’s see-through logo-stamped heels, there are endless trending branded pieces out in the capital right now.
