Whilst Dior was largely black and white as usual, the rest of Paris really went out with most outfits bearing a real pop of colour. I’d Kill Myself But I Can’t Afford A Funeral Right Now Shirt How wonderful! Normally we look forward to colourful Spring/Summer seasons but it looks as though Winter 24/25 will also be a colourful one. Of course there was still plenty of black and white out there on the streets. Surprisingly Paris was not as suited as usual. The suit is still a great staple to have but the streets saw fashionistas largely concentrating on creative outfits in favour of the regular suit. Standard blazers often being replaced by colourful bomber style jackets or cutely cropped vegan leather jackets. One could almost say that a Courrèges jacket is this seasons fashionista’s must have. On the jewellery front interesting choker style necklaces are making a comeback. Even simply wearing a silk rose around your neck is a great statement. OMG that reminds me of pictures from the 1920’s. When it comes to earrings, jewellery designers are counting on us all having more than one piercing – Dior included. At some stage I felt like every second woman was wearing the Alberta Ferretti Asymmetric Creolen earrings. A newish trend for rings is to wear them at knuckle level. Personally I think it looks great but would be too afraid of loosing mine to follow this trend. Colourful boots, the new trouser boot, designer Mary Jane ballerinas and fancy sneakers are the hot trends when it comes to footwear. The oversized gingham pattern is making a comeback and there were plenty of shorter furry jackets to be seen.

Confession: I should preface this story by sharing that I have never been a skinny-jeans person. I’d Kill Myself But I Can’t Afford A Funeral Right Now Shirt I detest how most denim fits my figure, but there’s something about skinny jeans that irks my soul on a whole new level. I know that’s a controversial take considering how much of a staple this style is, but I stand by it, especially since there are so many other denim trends and generally more flattering pant styles one can choose. Of course, if you’ll never give up your skinny jeans, I get it (you do you, darling), but if you’re open to the possibility of embracing something new, then keep reading. With spring in full swing and celebrities finally back out in the streets, there are many pant trends worth paying attention to and purchasing at the moment. In that vein, I’ve rounded up six styles that dominated spring/summer 2022 collections and have been spotted on the celeb style set, and I shopped them out at Nordstrom. These styles are perfect if you want to mix things up or if you’re finally ready to cut the cord with skinny jeans but just need a little inspiration to do so. Long gone are the days of your cropped skinny jeans, and there’s no further proof than the rise of the puddle pants. If you’re wondering what puddle pants are, just think of them as pants that should have been hemmed but are so oversize that they’re either dragging on the ground or creating an overall baggy effect. Is it slightly chaotic? Yes. Is the prospect of foregoing a trip to the tailor intriguing? Also yes. Even if you don’t love the trend yourself and decide to pass on it for now, there’s no denying that this pant silhouette is very much on the rise. Stars like Rihanna, Alexa Demie, and even Kate Middleton have been spotted donning dramatically long pants recently. Whether anyone beyond the celeb set will ditch their beloved skinny jeans for this trend can only be determined with time.
