Nothing says springtime like white dresses; they really do make up the DNA of our wardrobes in the warmer months. Official Official Ghoul-Ade Ohhh No Shirt What’s so fresh about S/S 24’s version of this classic is that it doesn’t just come courtesy of cotton. In fact, you’ll find it in chiffon, silk, taffeta and gauzy knits. “Winter might be all about the LBD, but for spring/summer 2024, white dresses in all iterations are coming to the fore once again, with plenty of designers honing in on statement, snowy pieces that can be worn by everyone,” says Who What Wear UK managing editor Poppy Nash. “Whether you’re a romantic who is a fan of fairytale-esque, frothy, floor-length numbers (like me) or are a minimalist who prefers elegant and chic, clean lines in the form of structured minis and midis, there’s something for you here. You’ll often see 2024’s signature white dress combined with other key trends for the season, such as sheer fabrics, romantic details like draping and flat footwear, too. Combine them all for an outfit that shows you really know your stuff.”. “S/S 24 is all about simplicity-meets-sophistication, and if you’re looking to buy one statement-making piece this season, make it a white dress,” concurs Speed. “There’s nothing quite as eye-catching as an all-white look, and it’s a piece you can easily tailor to your own style.”

The cherry on top of a fantastic season of runways is always Paris Fashion Week. Official Official Ghoul-Ade Ohhh No Shirt Home to some of the most storied brands in the world, the City of Light consistently delivers on high glamour, major street style, and jaw-dropping shows. And making her exciting return to the front row this season was Morgan Stewart McGraw. The tastemaker and Nightly Pop alum arrived with a full schedule that included stops at Balmain, Lanvin, The Row, and Hermès. But perhaps most anticipated on her list was the Valentino show. Not since Phoebe Philo’s Celine era has a fashion house had such a hold on us the way Valentino has with its F/W 22 collection. Featuring 80-plus looks drenched in vibrant Pink PP—a new Pantone color created by designer Pierpaolo Piccioli—the collection effectively set in motion the Barbiecore trend and has appeared on countless celebrities. With such a dominant last showing, we were excited to see what the fashion house would dream up next for the S/S 23 season. I was honored to be dressed by the brand for the show. I immediately gravitated toward this black textured set when I was looking around the maison. I just loved how effortlessly cool it looked yet still felt very feminine.
