New York Fashion Week has finished for another season, Randy Johnson Sports Illustrated & Arizona Player Name shirt and I have looked through thousands of street style pictures of what the buyers, editors, and influencers were wearing to the shows this year. New York winters are famously severe, but the practicality of dressing for the cold didn’t stop the fashion crowd from serving up some innovative styling tricks. There were eight items in particular that I kept seeing people wearing and that have inspired my own new-season shopping list. The outerwear game in New York was particularly strong, with lots of snakeskin colorful jackets, leather blazers, interesting trench coats, and ivory classic overcoats. No winter outfit is complete without an amazing pair of boots, and it was a tale of two boot trends this season—oversize track-sole boots and knee-high leather boots worn over trousers and jeans. As for the accessories, New Yorkers had a lot of piled-up gold-chain jewelry and the all-American classic, the baseball cap.
