Who What Wear editors are always on the lookout for emerging trends, Big Ron’s Pixel Perfect Shirt and when fashion week rolls around, it turns into a friendly competition. Since two is a coincidence, but three signals a trend, it’s easy to identify accessories, shapes, and even colors that are on the rise before they’re absolutely everywhere. But let’s not pat ourselves on the back too quickly; the bright-orange bag trend is pretty easy to spot. Stylish people from NYC to Stockholm have been caught carrying bright-orange bags, which, surprisingly, go with everything. Whether you’re adding the bright bag to punch up an otherwise everyday look or simply having the most fun possible with an array of colors, this street style trend is easy to participate in and enjoy at practically any price. In fact, H&M recently rolled out its version of the trend with a shapely shoulder bag that comes in electric orange. The best part? At just $25, it’s too good not to take out for a spin this weekend, no matter where your plans take you. Okay, now that orange bags are officially on your radar too, we’ve pulled several eye-catching styles that are sure to stop street style photographers and fashion fanatics in their tracks. So which orange will you pick?
Big Ron’s Pixel Perfect Shirt, hoodie, sweater, longsleeve and ladies t-shirt
If you’ve ever glanced at a street style roundup, Big Ron’s Pixel Perfect Shirt you’ve definitely encountered a familiar scene: Thora Valdimars and Jeanette Friis Madsen strolling side by side looking impossibly cool. Considering Copenhagen’s ability to set the trends, it’s no coincidence that both ladies are Danish. Aside from being the reigning queens of Scandi street style, Valdimars and Friis Madsen are the talented designers behind one of my favorite Danish brands: Rotate Birger Christensen. Since they’re entrenched in the Copenhagen fashion landscape both behind the scenes and in front of the camera, I thought they’d be the perfect people to tap for Scandi-approved spring style tips. I’ve attended Copenhagen Fashion Week three times now, and Rotate is reliably the show with the highest energy and best dance party vibes. The brand’s most recent show for F/W 20, of course, was no exception. But before we delve into fall, we’re excited to talk about what’s right in front of us: spring trends. Valdimars and Friis Madsen told us their three best style tips for this season, and you’d be wise to take notes. In keeping with the theme, I’ve also included pieces by Rotate as well as several other Scandinavian brands that show at Copenhagen Fashion Week—including Rains, Ganni, Stine Goya, Remain Birger Christensen, and Munthe.
