Arguably the first punk rock band, certainly the first in the USA that commanded attention. Cited as influential by many of the early punk outfits in the US. They certainly made an impression on us … our tee wasn’t too shabby eitherThe Slits were there at the beginning. They got together even before we did, formed in 1976 by members of The Flowers of Romance and The Castrators (you must remember those guys). This one really takes us back. The stories it could tell, if only t-shirts could talk. Another early American group, The Cramps formed in 1976 and were part of the CBGB New York music club movement. They’re regarded as one of the innovators of psychobilly. Stay Sick Turn Blue was a 1980 vinyl LP. Rarities, these days, it’s hard to get hold of both the album and the t-shirt.

This really gave my husband so much joy! He said it brought back a lot of memories for him since this was his favorite group when he was younger… he truly loved this shirt, so glad I got it! The picture and vibrancy that’s in this photo is as is, you get what you see!

Perfect T-Shirt
This is a perfect T-Shirt. Nice fabric, holds the color with repeated washings, doesn’t shrink much at all. I have many Gildan T-Shirts, this time I tried the Indigo Blue. Fantastic color! I want more!

Good outside work T-shirt

Bought these for working in my yard. They are just the right size (XL) and length. On me, the hem is down to the bottom of the front pocket openings on my jeans and the fit is slightly loose, not figure hugging.
I’m not sure what the definition of “heavy” is supposed to be. These seem to feel slightly thicker than the Hanes or Fruit of the Loom multi-pack white T-shirts you can buy at your local supermarket, but you can still easily see through them when held up to a sunny window, for example.
I waited to do this review until one shirt was washed to record the amount of shrinkage and see how the texture changed. New, they are almost silky in feel. Very nice. Once washed, they lose that and become slightly rougher, like any other T-shirt. After one wash, as shown by the photo of washed over top of new, they have lost maybe 1″-1.5″ on length, but the width change was minimal and the fit is still a loose XL. The color faded slightly also.
It’s a T-shirt and it’ll meet my intended use, but I wouldn’t say they were “special”
