In fact, Direct to Garment printing only began in the early 2000s, and is now just picking up traction (which further proves that right now is the best time to get involved in it!). Why the switch? All of our cotton is 100% combed and ring-spun, making it the best surface available for DTG printing (read up on the differences between types of cotton here). If you try and cut corners here by using a cheaper, carded cotton, you’ll end up spending more on pre-treatment and ink and will end up with a inferior resulting print.

This is why you buy

Purchased August 2020, ‘heavy cotton’ 100% cotton, color ordered and received is pure white, made in Nicaragua, with no odor when new. Fabric is thick enough to be opaque and not so small to be form fitting (I am pretty wide), suitable for wear as a shirt as well as an undergarment. My XL was really an XL-long which means it has a long trunk section that will not come un-tucked (plumbers crack for instance) but not so long it looks odd if you wear it un-tucked. Double stitching at seams with an arm length slightly above the elbow. This is ideal for applying company logos, or tie dye. Perfect for a full figured male (or female) or a thin person who doesn’t want a clingy fit. Completely satisfied.

Great T-shirts!
I liked the weight of the fabric , and that it’s cotton so it keeps me cool at work during these hot days. I use it as a back up shirt for my work uniform, which is black and yellow, but this shirt is fine.

Great quality, but order a size up.
After an inspection of the clothing they appear to be made quite well. There were no openings in the seems, no loose/unraveling threads, no tears, or stains.

Unfortunately, even with measuring myself before ordering, they did not fit. I ordered medium, in accordance to their sizing chart, but it felt much too tight. Almost like it was trying to be a muscle shirt. So, order a size bigger and you should be good there.

Finally, I learned I don’t like “heavy cotton.” A lot of other reviewers said the fabric was soft. To me it was indeed heavy, too heavy, and was more roughly-textured that I expected. Not what I call soft.

I liked the quality of the construction though, and these issues ultimately shouldn’t count against the product itself. Size chart just needs some adjustment, and the fabric issues are just my own preferences.
