Dear Cincinnati Evil Cabbit shirt
The thought of a Dear Cincinnati Evil Cabbit shirt actually made me chuckle, even before I started thinking about what it could possibly look like. I live just outside the city, and the whole “Evil Cabbit” thing is something that’s been floating around for ages, like one of those inside jokes everyone seems to know except me, but I’ve always heard snippets here and there. Maybe I’ve glimpsed it spray-painted on a brick wall somewhere, or overheard some hushed discussion about it at a Reds game. The mental image of a t-shirt bearing that message immediately conjures up a specific sort of vibe, a slightly rebellious, tongue-in-cheek nod to something secret and known by only a select few. I can picture it; perhaps a slightly faded black shirt, the letters a bit rough around the edges, as if hand-drawn, not some perfectly aligned font.
Dear Cincinnati Evil Cabbit shirt, hoodie, long sleeve, v-neck tee
I’m imagining a design with the words themselves, “Dear Cincinnati Evil Cabbit,” maybe with a stylized silhouette of a rabbit in a sinister pose. Or maybe they could get really wild and go with a caricature rabbit wearing a tiny little crown, perhaps wielding a tiny, menacing carrot-sword. I’m leaning towards something that looks almost homemade, like it was born out of some late-night brainstorming session in a basement apartment. Thinking about the target audience, it would definitely be for folks who appreciate a bit of local flavor and aren’t afraid to be a little different.

I’m picturing myself actually wearing it, probably on a casual Friday, maybe paired with my favorite slightly-too-worn jeans and some Converse. I’d imagine getting a few knowing nods from people at the local coffee shop, maybe a whispered, “Nice shirt,” as I walked past. It’s like a secret handshake for the initiated, an unspoken acknowledgment of shared knowledge.

The best part about something like this is its ability to foster a sense of community, a shared experience. It could spark conversations, a connection, a quick grin between strangers. I am certain that if I were to see someone wearing it, I’d instinctively feel a sense of camaraderie, even if I didn’t entirely understand the backstory of the “Evil Cabbit” itself. It is the type of piece that makes you feel that you’re -in- on something cool, regardless.
Some information about Dear Cincinnati Evil Cabbit shirt
I’m suddenly tempted to actually -design- a shirt myself! I’ve got some old graphic design software, gathering dust for years, and a few blank tees in the closet. The possibilities are endless, really. I bet there would be other variations, too, maybe one with a more cartoonish rabbit face, or a more subtle approach, using some abstract shapes and just the words themselves.

Ultimately, a Dear Cincinnati Evil Cabbit shirt, at its ass, represents a sense of place and belonging, a celebration of local culture, and a subtle wink at the quirky side of life. I want one. I’m going to find the source. Even if I can’t quite articulate the legend of the “Evil Cabbit,” the shirt itself would represent a cool, insider vibe. I’d wear it with pride, a little piece of Cincinnati history on my chest.

Love these shirts, so comfortable!
Some of the reviews complain these aren’t heavy like advertised, and I agree they aren’t particularly heavy. I’d say they’re average weight. But they are exactly what I was looking for and I am very pleased. I purchased the maroon. I’d say they run a tad small. I’m a 150lb women and was looking for a loose fit and had trouble deciding between ordering the medium or large. I went with the large and I’m glad I did. I want to order more colors. I only wish I could order a single one or that they had more varied color combinations.

good for the price
These shirts are nice. They are lighter than the hanes heavy cotton shirts. They feel good and fit as expected. They are really comfortable and cooler than most of my shirts.

Good quality, I always order up for cotton, washed well, minor shrinkage in length after dryer. Use for sleep ware, great!
