We thought we’d take a look at t-shirt printing and GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) Funny Man Ray Charles Graphic shirt. It’s a term we often mention because ethics and sustainability are an increasingly important consideration in the world of customised clothing. Are you thinking about placing an order for t-shirts to be printed or embroidered? Does it matter how the blank shirts are made? It might not be high on your priority list right now, but that could be something that changes in the future.
Choosing to print eco-friendly t-shirts isn’t just about lowering our impact on the planet and being fairer to the folk who produce our raw materials. It’s a pretty good idea in purely business terms. Strike the right balance, and you strike gold. Yes, your conscience will feel better, but the bottom line will also benefit. It’s all part of the deal. More and more consumers are concerned about the sustainability and ethics behind the products they purchase. For many, it’s a decisive factor, the thing which means that they buy your shirt or use your company. So, let’s get into it. T-shirt printing and GOTS.

Heist is a four-color print with black and three muted blues Funny Man Ray Charles Graphic shirt. It’s a fun design with a lot going on and if you love raccoons it’s a bonus. Being from Ireland I don’t know much about raccoons. The other tee, Midnight Mischief, shows the crazy raccoons up to no good again. This time they are pranking/vandalizing a police car with eggs and toilet paper. It’s a five color print but is less color-intensive than Heist. I like the abundance of white space in the design of Midnight Mischief but Heist is just more fun. They say they use a waterbased full color print for a “no touch” feel and it is true. You cannot feel where the ink starts and stops. I love that because I am one of those people who can’t stop fiddling with the different textures on my clothes. I find the existence of heavy ink very distracting.
