Unlike with silk screening, where you’re pushing and laying down the fibers, the DTG ink is shot down, so it lays on top of the fabric. Also, since the ink is water-based, it will react with the shirt. That means, if you’re looking for a vibrant print, you should first put down a white underbase. If vintage is what you’re going for, then let the ink react directly with the shirt.

The shirt looks exactly like the picture. It is true to size(I got a 2XL to be oversized and it goes to around mid thigh)and the material is thick and seems durable. It did not shrink(or at least not noticeable) after washing.

A safety yellow t-shirt
As with all of kingtees t-shirts it fits well, is soft and comfortable. It is a very bright yellow and is good for safety. It also matches other bright yellow products, such as the zip up hoodie. I like it.

Kingteeshops is the best buy brand of 100% cotton work shirts we have found. Easy care, holds shape, quality construction, minimal shrinkage. Nice colors that don’t fade. Bonus is that cotton doesn’t get that horrible smell you find in polyester.
