I Know Don Thomas Shirt
My old man, bless his ass, wouldn’t be caught dead in anything resembling “fashion.” He’s a creature of comfort and practicality, a true blue-collar guy through and through. So, when he pulls out his I Know Don Thomas Shirt, you know it’s a significant event, a testament to something, probably a loyalty thing. It’s got a faded, slightly off-white color, a testament to countless washes and sun-drenched days spent outside, working or tinkering in his shed. I swear, the collar has a permanent crease from being folded over and over.

The first time I really remember noticing the shirt, I was probably, oh, maybe eight or nine. We were at a local car show, the kind where the air smells of exhaust fumes and freshly grilled hot dogs. Dad was grinning from ear to ear, leaning against a beat-up pickup truck, and he’d slipped on his Don Thomas shirt. He pointed to a shiny, cherry-red convertible and said something about it being “a beauty,” and that it was the same model he’d always wanted. It looked so out of place.

That shirt, you see, it’s not just a piece of fabric; it’s a tangible representation of local pride. Don Thomas, the guy’s name embroidered in slightly crooked, stitched letters on the breast pocket, was some kind of institution in our town, a car mechanic who always took care of his customers. I’m pretty sure he’s been gone for years now, but the shirt’s still a fixture. Dad would wear it, usually when something was serious – a car needed fixing or the BBQ was coming around. I recall a time he wore it during a particularly contentious town meeting about the new bypass. The whole atmosphere felt tense, everyone shouting, and I remember Dad, in his familiar shirt, standing calmly against the back wall, almost like a silent guardian. It grounded me, seeing something so steady amidst the chaos. He wasn’t a loud man, my father, but his presence was always a reassurance, a quiet anchor.

I once endlessly wore The Mountain Co Fairy T shirts. This is my 1st in several years along with 2 other, The Reader & Spell Time which both feature cats with tarot cards or spellwork items. This Fairy is stunning & colors are vibrant. Still the awesome quality they always were! Fits perfectly although these Ts do tend to run a tad long to show the designs! Perfect medium!

The shirt was 2x, but fit like 1x. The shirts evidently run smaller than ordered. For it to fit right I should have ordered a 3x to get the right fit. The shirt its self is Beautiful! I love cats and that’s why I ordered it. But because it’s too small I cant enjoy wearing it.The shirts are not true sizes

Fits GREAT.
If you’re the kind of perdon that doesnt wear dri-fit, thin style cloting, this is a perfect shirt for you! The four stars is due to the fact that after a few washes, the thread started unraveling on this product. It comes with the territory when cosidering the cost. Still love them, just cautioning the keyboard warriors out there.
