We’ve finally reached the tail end of fashion month. Official Modern Life Is Rubbish Shirt People always say to save the best for last and nothing is a true testament to that statement like Paris Fashion Week. I’ve reviewed street style from every city but there’s just something about seeing beautiful clothing on the streets of Paris amongst the city’s people that always wins me over. This explains why my shopping cart is full after watching the guests arrive at Paris Fashion Week from the comfort of my own home. There was a wide range of guests in attendance. I fall somewhere in between the die-hard minimalists that opted for structured tailoring and the “camp” enthusiasts that found a way to add excessive drama to each look. Below, find the eight items that I’m convinced I need to buy in 2023 straight off the backs of the PFW street style set. Remember when the Met Gala theme was “Camp?” Ever since that Monday in May that occurred in 2019, the word is ingrained in all of our minds. The most “camp” moments I saw occurred outside of the Loewe show. This makes sense since the brand has been adding a lot of fun elements to fashion in its most recent seasons. I’m currently taking notes on how I can add this trend to my wardrobe to make my minimal pieces pop.

Comfort is more than a trend—it’s a state of mind. Official Modern Life Is Rubbish Shirt For many of us, the relaxed vibes we get from wearing our favourite loungewear is something we’d very much like to carry into other aspects of our wardrobes, and spring/summer’s exploration of drapery is the key. “It’s no wonder that draped, ruched and artfully pleated fabrics continue to dominate the fashion arena,” says Almassi. “They are the true definition of comfortable, flattering clothes because they flex and change to suit the wearer, working around the curves of a body or adding shape where it might be desired. Not only that, but there’s always something reminiscent of romantic times of yore; Grecian goddesses, beautifully carved marble statues and swathes of Victorian taffeta come to mind, and I can’t help but fall in love with the charm of it all.”
