This little guy was living his best life, probably sniffing out forgotten Christmas cookies or maybe even plotting a heist on the leftover turkey. The whole scene, the frantic holiday energy, and that bold raccoon, sparked the idea in my mind. It felt like the embodiment of all that stress, mixed with the inherent joy of the season. The initial sketch was a mess, honestly. My drawing skills peak somewhere around stick figures and lopsided houses. I finally settled on a design: a grumpy-looking raccoon, decked out in a ridiculously oversized Santa hat, overflowing with jingle bells, and with tiny, glittery claws clutching a candy cane. It was absolutely ridiculous, and exactly what I envisioned.

The shirt’s birth was an adventure, a series of failed attempts, stained fabric, and a whole lot of head-scratching. Getting the fabric paint to cooperate was a challenge. Then came the realization that, while aesthetically pleasing, glitter -everywhere- is a serious commitment. Finally, after a few weeks of trial and error (and cleaning glitter off literally everything), the masterpiece emerged.
