Inspired by Russian modernism and the work of painter Ben Nicholson, Spencer showed off a refined collection of tailoring, knitwear and jersey pieces in a colour palette of cobalt blue, racing green and burnt orange. Throughout the show, splashes of yellow and green gave suiting a strong contemporary finish, whilst footwear, such as the lace-less grain derby shoes, subtly showcased the designer’s keen eye for detail. An unlined Portland jacket made a welcomed appearance; meanwhile the Fisher Jacket shone brightly with a bold azure blue lining and coated fabric finish. The highlight of the show was the appearance of Topman’s Gordon Richardson, who rocked the runway showing off the best selling Byron navy Travel Jacket.
