Nothing says springtime like white dresses; they really do make up the DNA of our wardrobes in the warmer months. This Doesn’t Feel Right That’s Better Shirt What’s so fresh about S/S 24’s version of this classic is that it doesn’t just come courtesy of cotton. In fact, you’ll find it in chiffon, silk, taffeta and gauzy knits. “Winter might be all about the LBD, but for spring/summer 2024, white dresses in all iterations are coming to the fore once again, with plenty of designers honing in on statement, snowy pieces that can be worn by everyone,” says Who What Wear UK managing editor Poppy Nash. “Whether you’re a romantic who is a fan of fairytale-esque, frothy, floor-length numbers (like me) or are a minimalist who prefers elegant and chic, clean lines in the form of structured minis and midis, there’s something for you here. You’ll often see 2024’s signature white dress combined with other key trends for the season, such as sheer fabrics, romantic details like draping and flat footwear, too. Combine them all for an outfit that shows you really know your stuff.”. “S/S 24 is all about simplicity-meets-sophistication, and if you’re looking to buy one statement-making piece this season, make it a white dress,” concurs Speed. “There’s nothing quite as eye-catching as an all-white look, and it’s a piece you can easily tailor to your own style.”

With fashion month kicking off in New York in less than a month, This Doesn’t Feel Right That’s Better Shirt our editors have been buzzing about the upcoming runway shows that are confirmed on the spring/summer 2024 schedule and the newness that is arriving. They have been discussing the street style looks that are in store as well as the new-season trends and exact pieces we’re expecting to see on the fashion set. While there are plenty of just-dropped items from the fall/winter 2023 collections that are sure to be in heavy rotation, there are some buzzy finds I’m predicting will be heavily in demand and center stage on the fashion month street style scene. My short list includes pieces such as Prada’s white flower-adorned heels and skirts, Tory Burch’s two-tone chiffon skirts, Alaïa’s laser-cut Mary Jane flats, and The Row’s knit cotton gloves, among many others. Ahead, shop the pieces I already know will be in heavy rotation on the street style scene next month.
