When it comes to complementary and clashing colors, when you find peace again don’t let you t-shirt it can be hard to know which hues work together and which hues just don’t. Really, it’s down to trial and error (our fashion mantra is to try everything once) and learning from your mistakes. Right now, there’s a particular pairing doing the Instagram rounds which, on paper, really shouldn’t work, but it somehow does. Countless influencers are putting together two of this season’s top color trends—green and lilac—to unexpectedly chic avail. It appears one of the easiest (read: less daunting) ways to wear it is by opting for pastel iterations of green and purple, which blend together beautifully. That said, if you’re looking to make a true style statement, perhaps you’ll be keen to try María Bernad’s ultraviolet-and-moss duo. Either way, rest assured you’ll look very much on trend. Emili Sindlev gives the trend a downtime spin by wearing her chic green button-down with a purple bikini.
when you find peace again don’t let you t-shirt, hoodie, sweater, longsleeve and ladies t-shirt
Baartmans and Siegel showed their AW13 collection in full cinematic glory (In Covent Garden Odeon to be precise), when you find peace again don’t let you t-shirt having the models assemble on stage just in front of a screen. This allowed a full view of the collection, with complete looks set next to one another while a red dégradé was simultaneously projected. The collection, capturing the transition from boyhood to manhood, and exploring bleak winters – used military inspired coats and sharp silhouettes reacting to the instinct of self-protection. Reds and aubergine, perfectly assembled with light and dark greys and white, complemented each other. Refined classic cuts can be seen in their tailoring – exemplified in the lightweight wool jersey double-breasted suit jackets. Equally impressive are the technical accomplishments achieved in the feather down quilted bomber jacket in clear plastic and the white jacquard fully reversible silk puffers.
